What does the embrace in tango truly hold?

A meeting of bodies…
of distance and closeness…
of listening, permission, and quiet longing.

Somewhere between what I feel
and what you expect,
something delicate is negotiated.
Sometimes spoken, often not.

Tomorrow, we open a space to notice that.

To sense where we meet,
where we miss each other,
and whether we have the language
—or the courage—
to bridge that space.

We’ll be joined by a special guest, Silas Ramirez, whose experience as a dancer and teacher brings a grounded, human perspective to the embrace.

Together with Alla Petcheniouk and Jesus Acosta,
we invite you into a circle of dancers —to reflect, to listen,
and to gently explore how tango feels… and how you long for it to feel.
